When Josh met Bri
How We Found Forever
Josh and Bri met through an acquaintance at work and instantly clicked. As they started attending events and activities outside of work, their connection grew stronger until they became inseparable. After six months of going out on dates and refusing to call it a “relationship”. The two goofballs admitted they wanted their love story to grow forever! Two years of shared experiences, personal growth, and becoming puppy parents led Josh to surprising Bri with a magical trip to St. Augustine, FL. Amidst tears of love, Bri said YES to being his forever partner and their journey towards a life together began.
2021
The Year We Met.
August 2021: We went on our first date to Texas Roadhouse & Topgolf, little did we know it would be our last first date.
Family, Christmas, & First Vacation.
From meeting each other’s families, to spending Christmas together we “wrapped” up the year pretty good. We even took our first trip together for NYE to Daytona Beach.
2022
Sworn & Official.
Bri got sworn into law enforcement and Josh asked her to be “official”. #powercouple
Opposites Attract.
Bri moved in with Josh. We began working opposite schedules and only seeing each other in passing, but we knew if we could make it through it, we would make it through anything.
Paw Parents & Another Holiday Season.
In September, Tucker Bousquet joined our lives making us a Mama and Dada for the first time. We spent another holiday season with our families and continued to grow closer.
2023
Synced Up.
The year everything clicked. We were back to working the same schedule and getting to spend so much time together. Disney dates, weddings, concerts, & vacations made this year packed of fun and love.
YES to forever!
November 22nd, 2023: We became Fiancés! Josh took Bri on a surprise trip to St. Augustine. Under all the twinkly lights, Josh planned the most amazing proposal and got Bri the most stunning ring…but the surprises didn’t stop there. Josh had Gabi (Bri’s MOH) surprise Bri and capture photos of the proposal, as well as surprised her with a horse drawn carriage ride through the town under all the lights and ended night with the most romantic and yummy dinner.
2024
We’re Getting Married!
We are both so incredibly excited to celebrate with the closest people to us in our lives. Y’all are our village and life takes a village. We can’t wait to spend forever together! Wedding & Honeymoon here we come. We’ll see you all real soon!
